Forget Streetview, Immersion hints at what’s to come

You can't explain it, have to experience it.

"Waddle” is a visionOS application designed for the Apple Vision Pro that allows users to explore the world using immersive 360° Street View. The latest update has high resolution Street views and is breathtaking visiting places.

NB: We are in a time when the old 2-D media can't convey the new media and we're forced to explain what the audience cannot see…

…. This is like trying to use newspapers, magazines and TV to explain to an audience what the internet is like. Having lived through that you realize that the only way to understand the new medium is to use it. It's a classic problem in technology adoption.

I have an original VP, but find myself with precious little time to use it. Of course, it's going through improvements, so it's likely that, by the time I find the time to get more deeply into it, I'll be needing to buy the latest version....

My biggest problem is very similar to my problem with AirPods: neither seems to fit my physical dimensions, and as a consequence, neither is particularly pleasant to wear.

In fact, this also now extends to my Watch: I am allergic to latex, and when my old original stainless steel link bracelet finally gave up the ghost, I went to a diver's band. - which apparently is latex.

It seems to me that custom fitting Apple products is a whole field that they are presently ignoring. I realize that it is going to be tough to do, but since the present VP is in such limited production, coming up with a process for more closely fitting different faces would seem like a good way to proceed.
